4 out of 5 stars Deadliest Catch game   January 26, 2009

Game was intresting and fun levels to learn tasks. Good detail on the boats. Only had a few glitches due to our old PC.

This game is a lot of fun. You can customize your own boat or you can choose from, Cornella Marie, Northwestern, Sea Star, and theres another one but I forgot what the name is. Your the captin of the boat and you can set pots, tell the crew when to sleep, when to set pots, when to pick up the pots, and when to got cook a meal. You can also choose how many pots you want to stack on deck and choose how much fuel and bait you want and choose your own crew members while your at the docks. My final thought on how gameplay is that the Waves are VERY real. You crew guys can fall down or go overboard.

The graphics are good but not the best. The ocean graphics are the best part of the graphics. The boats are still rough around the edges.

All in all I would Definetly recommend this game to anyone who likes Deadliest catch or just likes games like this. So I would pick this game up.
Have fun.

4 out of 5 stars The game   December 27, 2008

Deadliest Catch: Alaskan Storm is very thrilling, real, and entertaining. I love this game because you not only get to choose your crew, where to fish and etc.,but it also let's you choose your boat, customize it and best of all, name it. I will make this short and sweet, I LOVE THIS GAME!
I recommend this game for all ages old enough to play.

4 out of 5 stars Repetative for Career but still Fun.   December 16, 2008

For me the game is entertaining. I don't have the hours on end to sit in front of a computer and play games so sitting down for 30 minutes or an hour and playing this for a bit is fun and relaxing to me. The game isn't overly hard and will throw a wrench in your plans on occasion which keep you moving. Its fast mode takes away from waiting hours on end for the time to elapse which is a great tool! For kids 10 and up I would say.

3 out of 5 stars this game is a true simulation   November 30, 2008

the developers of the product did a very good job keeping the product extremely real. Therefore it does take a rather long time to play and after a while doing the same thing gets a little old. There's not a lot of variety in gameplay and the graphics except for during storms are definitely subpar for 2008 standards.
