Designed specifically for Sabot slug-gun loads such as the Hornady SST, Remington Copper Solid, Winchester Partition Gold, Federal Premium, and Lightfield Hybrid, the Nikon SlugHunter 3-9x40 riflescope has what it takes to accommodate almost any hunting style. The scope's main features include a multicoated lens system that lets in up to 92 percent of available light, a bullet drop compensating (BDC) 200 reticle that provides a precise 200-yard aiming point, precise 1/4 MOA hand-turn windage and elevation adjustments, and an all-purpose Realtree green camo finish. The BDC reticle is perhaps the most compelling feature, as its trajectory-compensating system is designed and calibrated to provide fast, simple aiming points for various shot distances, including 100, 150, and 200 yards. The unique system integrates a series of small "ballistic circles" to produce an unobstructed view of the target. The scope's high-performance lenses, meanwhile, are coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds.
