My dog is only 7 pounds and this jacket doesn't quite fit around the neck but it's ok. There doesn't seem to be a lot of "fluff" to keep her floating seems really skinny. This probably should be a full floater by adding to the rear, she seems to paddle herself upright and almost upside down with it on. We are planning more swimming experiments and will see how it works out with further supervised use before we let her just go on her on.

I purchased an xx small of this product last summer for my 5 pound chihuahua and it was a perfect fit! I especially like the handle on top along with the leash clip. I'm much more comfortable out on the water now that my dog has this to wear!

UPDATE: We received the M size and it fits our pug. It's a little large for him, but at least it'll fit. Below is what I wrote earlier re: size S not fitting our pug.
Haven't tested this in the water yet, but product quality seems to be great. Looks very well-made, and feels solid.
The only problem: the sample picture for the Small size shows a pug, so we decided to go with a size S instead of M. Turns out this would not fit our 23-lb 10-year-old pug. He's actually kinda slim for a pug. Most pugs have bigger waists than ours. We're going to exchange for a Medium.
BOTTOM LINE: Haven't tested it, but quality seems superb. If your dog is of similar size to an adult pug, get the Medium.

Is a release to be able to live my pug Fiona out side with out worrie that is going to fall in the swimming pool and drawm, it fits great and seem to be really confortalbe because sh is enjoing it a lot in the water with my other dog a golden retiever
