Bonjour,
J'ai roulé pendant une heure sous une pluie battante dans des chemins boueux et sableux. L'iphone est resté complètement sec et protégé ...
Ca tombe bien, c'est pour cela que je l'ai acheté !
3 points négatifs cependant :
- Quand l'écran est trempé, il faut d'abord l'essuyer pour que l'iphone réagisse bien au toucher.
- Le collier de serrage en plastique est un peu faible, si la vis est serrée trop fort, le filtage peut foirer très vite. Donc je vais l'adapter pour pouvoir y mettre un collier de serrage en métal.
- Découlant du problème de serrage : sur un chemin accidenté, le support tourne facilement autour du guidon pour retrouver l'iphone à la verticale ... pas pratique !
Sinon c'est un peu cher (surtout les frais de port) mais pour les gens qui font du VTT, couplé avec GPS Motion X et/ou IphiGéNie, je pense que ça vaut le coup !

I have bought a Bike Mount for Iphone made by the company called BIOLOGIC, the dealer was DAHON.
First of all the quality of the product is as cheap as possible, regarding to a valuable product like Iphone, I mean the quality of plastic and how it was done. Logically someone trying to protect an Iphone from rain, dust, etc. is looking for a quality solution. That's how I found BIOLOGIC case. It looked ok on photos. After I have received it, installed it on my bike immediatelly. I have opened it and put my Iphone into the case. After taking out I have realised that my phone is MOVING INSIDE THE CASE, the case seemed bigger than the size of the Iphone. I found out that a RUBBER RING is missing and contacted first of all the company BIOLOGIC, they asked me to go to DAHON, the company which was the dealer. So I had been fulfilling the role of a ball playing table tennis with these guys for a while, writing emails, sending photos, whatever and everything because of one stupid rubber ring, which makes the case water and dust-proof, without it the phone is moving inside and can be damaged by rain or dust. Anyway I gave it up, the sommer is soon over, I will look for something else as a solution, I have an unusable so called Iphone case, which I can not use and there are companies who like to write emails, instead of posting a part of a value maybe 10 cents, resulting one more unhappy customer.

Really was looking forward to having a Bike mount for my iPhone. The plastic looks sturdy enough but nowhere near the what's required the bike mount itself is just a bad construction. Can just pull the the iPhone right off, has no security at all... DO NOT PURCHASE! Hoping Otter Cases comes up with something far better....

There are two key issues when using this device to mount your iPhone, and using your iPhone as a bike computer: iPhone retention and battery life. This mount tends to "pop open" when I ride over rough-ish ground, so I secure it close with two rubber bands mounted above and below the screen. I solve the battery life issue by keeping an external USB battery in my seat bag and running the white iPhone power cable across my top bar and into the iPhone in the mount. I've happily ridden over 400 miles with this configuration. The maker of this product should probably include some black rubber bands with the product until they can do a fundamental redesign that might ensure that it actually stays closed.

Flimsy plastic, fell apart when the hinge-pin fell out. Beware, it will dump your phone on the ground.
